The Adventures of Erica! |
Photos and thought of all the adventure I seem to get up to! |
there is something magical about sailing that i nearly forgot, and love rediscovering…
for the last six days we have been at sea, and covered about 800 miles.
and the best bit is when i start my watch at 4am, there are no other boats, no other people, and you get a chance to see the world. the stars are so clear and so bright they light up the boat. then you look in the waves and see them glitter with phosophoresence. and the world has never been so beautiful.
to top it off, today i had a clear view of the milky way, saw shooting stars, a pink moon as the sun came up and a rainbow in the dawn light. there has never been a better start to the day.
I had to use up some film, so I took a walk around my village. There were many little features I had forgotten.
